Personal Statement/Bio:

Have you always wanted to learn to sing, play piano or guitar in public or in general but too afraid to follow through with it due to lack of training, etc? Have you ever listened to someone play the guitar or any other instrument and say to yourself, "I wish I could do that?"

Have you damaged your voice from years of incorrect singing? Or do you just have a passion for singing or playing your favorit instrument and want to improve? If you've answered yes to any of these questions, VP Music Studios is just for you!!

Highly professional and individualized lessons are designed around the skill level of the student; from the beginner to advanced. Anyone with a desire to sing or play piano can learn. No matter which style music you prefer, VPMS will show you how to apply healthy and natural techniques which will not only strengthen but improve your vocal and piano playing abilities.


Bryant Belin is the owner and director of VP Music Studios. He graduated from Coker College with a B.A in Vocal Performance. There he participated in many Opera scenes, various programs and engagements, and was the Coker College Department of Theatre, Dance and Music's outstanding student (2007 - 2008) also Who's Who Among America's Colleges and Universities - 2007. He has participated in the Graduate Certificate Program at University of South Carolina - Columbia, where he made his operatic debut in Mozart's The Magic Flute and later in Offenbach's - The Tales of Hoffman. Bryant has taught voice, music theory, and music fundamentals in general not only in the Western North Carolina area but also in various places throughout South Carolina for over a decade.

In the summer of 2007 Belin was invited to study and perform in the beautiful country of Spain via the International Course of Spanish Music through the University of South Carolina. There he studied with world renowned musicians: pianist - Julio Alexis Munoz; Opera Singer Mabel Perelstein - Mezzo-Soprano & Spanish Guitarrist - Avelina vidal Seara. Belin has also been invited to participate in the Rome Festival of summer 2011.

In addition to currently pursuing both his Master's in Music Education Research and Master's in Music Performance he currently operates as a Bass-Baritone Concert Soloist, Sunday Soloist and choral section leader in the Western North Carolina area for various churches and organizations. He recently performed Handel's Messiah and Schubert's Mass in G with the 1st United Methodist Church Chancel Choir in Brevard, NC.

He has also performed with the Asheville Lyric Opera and served as Bass soloist for the Blue Ridge Sacred Chorale's inaugural performance of Faure's Requiem also in Brevard, NC.

Cancellation Policy:

No lessons, once paid, will be refunded. Since we come to you it is important to provide advanced notice of any cancellations. At least 24 hours notice is required to have the option of scheduling a make-up lesson. If the 24 hour minimum is not met, you will forfeit the rescheduling opportunity for that lesson. No same day cancellations are allowed. Once paid, the only option you have for cancelled lessons is to reschedule. It will be the responsibility of the student (parent/guardian for children under 18) to reschedule. The teachers will be as flexible as possible with rescheduling. If VPMS (a teacher) cancels a lesson for any reason, the lesson will be rescheduled.
