Founded in Los Angeles by renowned vocal instructor Tricia Grey, MMus, SING LIKE A STAR™ Studio of the Arts provides unparalleled training to aspiring and professional singers and songwriters in every musical genre, bringing the world’s most sought after vocal technique to the greater Atlanta area.


SING LIKE A STAR™ Studio of the Arts educates, prepares and inspires a wide-ranging clientele from all genres of music. Pop, country, rock, R and B, classical, and musical theatre singers from beginning to advanced and professional levels are all welcome.


Local students study voice, songwriting, performance, and artist development at two convenient locations:

Long-distance students have the option of taking phone lessons or internet video lessons via two-way computer cameras using skype or ichat.

Tricia Grey, MMus is an exceptionally qualified voice teacher with a Master's Degree in Music and a lifetime of experience singing, performing, and producing artists, in the “real world” of music. She sings and teaches in all vocal styles- rock, R & B, gospel, blues, jazz, musical theatre, classical.


As a Level 4 Certified Speech Level Singing Instructor and the Education Advisor for all the Southeast States, Tricia Grey, MMus is a leading expert in Speech Level Singing® vocal technique.

Tricia Grey, MMus trained and taught for many years in Los Angeles with maestro Riggs before relocating to New York, London, and finally Atlanta to teach his method. With over 20 years in Los Angeles as a professional singer in bands and groups of all musical styles, a Conservatory Master's Degree in Vocal Performance, and certification in Speech Level Singing technique, Tricia brings you a unique combination of education and real experience in the music industry seldom found in one teacher.

Level 5 certified SLS (Speech Level Singing) instructor. This vocal technique is the standard of the music industry today, and I was trained in Los Angeles by Seth Riggs, teacher of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Barbra Streisand

Teaching Philosophy:

Developing a strong lower register, and a strong upper register and connecting them together so the singer can go from the lowest notes to the highest with ease and power.

I teach all styles of singing- R and B, Rock, Blues, Pop, Country, Gospel, Jazz and Classical
