Personal Statement/Bio:

Piano lessons are done in YOUR home for YOUR convenience! I know how tough it is to have yet another place you have to drive to every week, especially if you are a busy parent who wants piano lessons for your child. So, I come to you!

Education/Training:

I have been a pianist for 20 years and have 10 years of professional piano teaching experience. In that time, I have instructed hundreds of students and taught over 8,000 piano lessons. I studied piano privately for 9 years before completing 2 years of conservatory training in Sacred Music at Boyce College in Louisville, KY. In 2011, I earned a Diocesan Certificate in Church Music from the Diocese of Salisbury (Church of England). Recipient of the 2001 Irma Huckreide Award for Excellence in Classical Music.

Teaching Philosophy:

Lessons with me are FUN, but we get a lot accomplished. I teach in the Traditional Method which emphasizes reading music, music theory, and music history. Of course, learning to play songs is always the primary goal.

Music Programs:

I am the founder and school director of the online Wyndham Academy of Music. In the past, I have accompanied many bands, ensembles, choirs, and churches. I sang baritone in a Grammy Signature choir, the Atherton Chamber Singers. I currently teach piano to over 30 clients and am the pianist for Bethany Christian Church in Nicholasville, KY.

Cancellation Policy:

Tuition is $100/month for one 30-minute lesson per week.

One-hour lessons are available for adults and advanced students. $150/month

A discount of $20 per student is available if there are multiple students in the same household.

Canceled lessons are not refunded but may be re-scheduled at the discretion of the teacher.
