Personal Statement/Bio:

I believe music and movement are vital for a young child's growth and development. I believe neurological connections can be enhanced through a child's engagement in fun music and movement experiences and can assist a child in becoming a better learner and help them on their journey of a life long love of music.

Education/Training:

B.S. in Nutrition, Aerobic instructor, Drill Team coach, Science teacher, Song leader for scouts and young children. Musical entertainer for young children. Kindermusik educator license.

Teaching Philosophy:

In our Kindermusik classes Children develop new skills growing in their cognitive, physical, emotional and social development; laying down the tracks of a strong foundation for ALL learning.
We celebrate a child’s individuality and stress a process approach where EVERY child can enjoy and gain benefits from appropriate musical experiences. We believe parents and the home are the best learning environment, we support this belief by providing education and “at home materials” that allow the class experience to continue, in the most comfortable learning environment—the home.
