Personal Statement/Bio:
I received a bachelor's degree from Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt University with emphasis on Classical Guitar and Composition. I have been teaching many different instruments for over 18 years. I have also been in different ensembles that have performed in several Chicagoland/Midwestern locations. I have also had several of my own compositions published and performed in quite a few locations around the world.
Education/Training:
I went to Chicago Musical College (CMC) of Roosevelt University and received a Bachelor's degree in Classical Guitar. While at CMC, I studied with Paul Henry. I also attended the Recording Workshop.
Teaching Philosophy:
Every person has the ability to learn music--it just takes dedication and self-discipline. I am a very hands-on teacher that likes to teach his students music theory as well as technique.
Music Programs:
I have been involved in the following ensembles: Dalet-Yod, Nocturne, Hickman/Pancini Project, The Wandering Jews, and several others. I also belong to the Musicians Union in my area.
Cancellation Policy:
If a client needs to cancel a lesson(s), they need to give at least 24 hour notice. Failure to give advanced notice, will require client to pay for services.
Promotions:
I offer a half off discount for the first lesson of first time students.
