Professional singer for 30+ years on five continents.

Teaching Philosophy:

To be a great singer, you must understand music theory and embrace writing your own songs. Simply singing the music of others does not enable a singer to find her own voice. Therefore, learning to read and write music is essential.

The next essential is to understand that music is a business. Awareness of copyright laws to protect royalties is important.

Public Relations, marketing and advertising are also necessary skills for a professional musician in today's market.

Recording involves more than just going into a studio with a song to sing. Location, musicians, material and more make up the recording experience.

Cancellation Policy:

Private students must cancel a class at least 24 hours before the lesson, unless it is a dire emergency. If private student misses three classes, their lessons are cancelled.
