Personal Statement/Bio:
I started playing piano at 5-violin at 8 and flute at 10. Both of my parents are professional musicians and piano teachers-my brother is an emmy award winning record producer.
My mission is to bring music education and fun to all who want it!
I teach all ages 5 and up including Adults and all kinds of music!

Education/Training:
I went to Hofstra for music and of course I was taught by many teachers in schools and privately. My grandmother was on broadway and my dad sang with the Belltones and many other famous people-so I also have some in house training!
Teaching Philosophy:
I use a lot of books because I don't want the kids to memorize I want them to learn how to read! I use a theory book to teach music theory-an exercise book-2 teaching books and a book that they choose for fun!
People learn very fast this way! Within 10 lessons they are usually playing quite a bit of easy songs!
If the lessons are for a child under 10 I require that the paren sit in on the lessons in the beginning.

I train for NYSSMA-College auditions-and College Scholarships (or just for fun!)
