Personal Statement/Bio:

I began studying music at the age of 8, starting out on flute and switching to the guitar at 11. Then at 16 I began violin, piano, and composition lessons at the local university before going on to earn a degree in music. Having completed my undergraduate training in Florida, I then moved to San Diego where I studied with the acclaimed educator Celine Romero.

I taught my first music lessons at the age of 21, and have been teaching music in both private and classroom settings ever since. Throughout my career, I have performed in a variety of professional environments that include competitions, musical productions, and chamber ensembles.

Education/Training:

I began studying the flute at age 8, and then switched to guitar when I turned 11. I studied music at the local university throughout my teenage years, and then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in music from Jacksonville University in 2004. I then moved to California and entered San Diego State University to do graduate work for classical guitar.

Teacher's I have studied with include Gary Starling, Ron Johnson, Barry Greene, and Celine Romero.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations require 24 hour notice to be eligible for rescheduling; lessons without adequate notice will be forfeited. Furthermore, make-up lessons are contingent upon my performing/teaching schedule.
