Personal Statement/Bio:
Neighborhood Music School Inc. provides music lessons and performance opportunities for all ages in the Los Angeles area. It boasts of some of the highest quality music performers around, each with a passion for teaching that we could find.
We offer lessons for all string, woodwind, brass and percussion instruments as well as voice. We offer styles from classical to jazz improvisation, pop, opera, and world music.
Education/Training:
We have a staff that holds doctorates and masters degrees in music and education. Most have received performance awards, and have produced high rated recordings.
Teaching Philosophy:
Our teachers are schooled in various teaching methods including Yamaha, Suzuki, and Kindermusik methods. We place a high value on relationships and want to provide a life-giving atmosphere.
Music Programs:
Our staff is comprises of orchestra conductors, college and high school educators, A list performers, recording artists, music ministers, and students/interns. Some or all are members of NAMM, MTAC,and MTNA.
Cancellation Policy:
student must call 24 hours in advance to cancel and reschedule a lesson, otherwise the lesson is lost.
