Personal Statement/Bio:

Karrie L. Enstall has taught private lessons for 20 years before obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in music education from the University of the Pacific in Stockton and a Master of Arts in Education from Sacramento State. She currently teaches full time in Stockton Unified School District. She has performed with multiple groups in a myriad of styles including jazz, rock, blues, classical, and folk. She currently performs with Remnants.

Education/Training:

Karrie Enstall has grown up in music receiving piano lessons from age 5, through elementary school through high school. She has a CA teaching credential, grades k-12, a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from University of the Pacific and a Master of Arts in Education from Sacramento State. She also has three levels of Orff training from the San Francisco Orff School.

Teaching Philosophy:

Teaching philosophy is connected with the relationship of student to instructor. Teaching begins with the students interests and aimed at guiding the student to a full understanding of the musical language and finally toward enabling the student to explore their own musical communication style.

Music Programs:

Karrie Enstall teaches full in two K-8 Schools in Stockton and currently has 2 beginner bands, 2 intermediate bands, and 2 advanced bands, as well as 2 beginner string groups and 2 intermediate string groups and one choir. She currently plays in a community Jazz band and a Contemporary Christian group.

Cancellation Policy:

Lessons are billed monthly. I prefer 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Reschedule is at my discression.
