Personal Statement/Bio:

I have been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and still love it. I hope to influence my students to love music for a lifetime.

Education/Training:

I was a music major at Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO. I have been teaching piano ever since.

Teaching Philosophy:

I usually use either the Alfred or Faber & Faber method. Each lesson includes a lesson song, a recital song, technic and theory. As the student progresses, more catagories of learning are added.

Music Programs:

While in college I was a member of the college's signature traveling group, Impact Brass & singers. I played piano and keyboard for this group.
